Setting up the business information in ResBook is very important as it provides common information that will be used in communications with guests and day to day rules that help you run your business. To start with, you will need to set up the following 5 setting groups.


General Settings


General Settings will set up the details about your business for the day to day alerts and communications.  


To access 'General Settings' in ResBook, click on Settings (the gear icon), then select [System Settings]  and find [General Settings]. 


Calendar Settings

Calendar settings will allow you to control the look of your booking calendar.  This is the first page you will view when login into ResBook and will provide you with a one-screen view of your bookings. 


To access 'Calendar Settings' in ResBook, click on Settings (the gear icon), then select [System Settings] and find [Calendar Settings]


Address and Contact


Address and Contact information will cover business aspects of Address, phone, email and website details.


To access 'Address and Contact' settings in ResBook, click on Settings (the gear icon), then select [System Settings] and find [Address and Contact]


Property Description


Property Description covers Accommodation rules for bookings, Children and infants.


To access 'Property Description' settings in ResBook, click on Settings (the gear icon), then select [System Settings] and find [Property Description].


Accounting and Financial


Accounting and Financials will handle how ResBook displays currency, deposit rules and payment options and details. 


To access 'Accounting and Financial' settings in ResBook, click on Settings (the gear icon), then select [System Settings] and find [Accounting and Financial]
